A holiday thank you from our CEO and a glimpse of what comes next
Dear customers, partners, and colleagues,
As we move toward the end of the year, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the trust you place in us.
This is my first holiday season with you since I stepped into the CEO role in August, and I have already seen so much that makes me optimistic about what is ahead. The technology shift we are all experiencing is incredibly exciting, while also presenting challenges, both for us as a technology provider and for you as users.
What remains constant for us is our strong commitment to our customers, our willingness to challenge established ways of working, and our genuine ambition to make a meaningful impact going forward.

Looking back on 2025 – a year of momentum
As many others, we have reflected on how we support our customers, how we work as a tech company, and how we prepare for a future that is changing faster than any of us have experienced before.
AI is, of course, an important part of this. It helps us to improve operational efficiency and, even more importantly, create real customer value in our product offering for both existing and future customers.
This is an exciting time for the company, and also for me personally. Stepping into the CEO role at House of Control has been a genuine privilege. What stands out to me is the fantastic opportunity we have to bring real value to the table, helping Nordic and European companies stay ahead of increasingly complex compliance requirements.
I’ve been part of the Visma IT journey since 1999. I believe that House of Control’s place within the Visma family creates significant value, not only for us as a company, but even more so for our customers and future partners.
Our new AI first strategy
This autumn we launched our new strategy aligned with Visma, and with a clear direction: we will simplify contract, compliance, and vendor management through smart, connected technology. A key part of this is our commitment to an AI first mindset, from how we develop products to how we create value.
This strategy is ambitious, and it should be. The world around us is not slowing down, and neither are our customers’ expectations.
Our vision is to bring contract and compliance management to “life” and make it smarter. To deliver on this, we will focus on a few key shifts in the years ahead:
- Delivering intelligent solutions that simplify compliance and support confident decisions.
- AI will be part of how we work, making us faster, sharper, and more connected.
- Being AI first also means being responsible first, with clear use, strong data protection, and solutions customers can trust.
At the beginning of next year, we will take the first big steps of our new 2028 strategy. The road ahead will require focus and effort, and I am confident that we have the people, the competence, the power and the culture to make it happen.
In the years to come, we will focus on fitting seamlessly into the broader technology platforms our customers use, which makes modular, plug-and-play connected software essential.
With this in mind, we are excited about our planned launch in 2026. We will bring a brand new Contract and Compliance Management platform to the market, in combination with adding AI-value to our existing portfolio. We will share more details early next year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
We really look forward to 2026 and the journey ahead. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a refreshing start to the new year.
Warm regards,
Julie Groth Grønlund
CEO, House of Control
